June 09 — Taos, NM
Strange change is underway – reflected in my small gardens
– and echoed by other gardeners and bird lovers in the
Taos, New Mexico area. We’ve had a bunch of rain and
relatively cool weather – in general everything was
real green this spring and yet there are very few hummingbirds
and...critters are eating most of the slow growing veggies.
5 tomato plants disappeared overnight– roots and all
– not a sign left they had ever existed. The pulsing
steel , pest -prevention pounded into the ground is definitely
not working this season....READ
